Last week, we mentioned to you that Under Armour invited The Hoop Doctors to their exclusive basketball line event where they unveiled some new products and advertisements. In attendance was their hoops roster of Brandon JenningsKemba Walker, Grevis Vasquez and Derrick Williams; all of which we had a chance to speak with.

The #2 overall pick in this year’s draft, Derrick Williams, had some interesting things to share in particular. Heading into the draft, there was much back-and-forth amongst those in basketball circles about who should be the #1 overall pick: Duke’s Kyrie Irving or Arizona’s Derrick Williams. As we know, Kyrie was taken first although many felt as if Derrick would have more of an impact in the League.
